If a prompt comes up saying “System Extension Blocked” click the open security preferences button and click allow.

Double Click the Bitdefender for MAC installer and then the antivirus for mac package. Log back into your computer and open up your downloads folder again. Restart your computer to finalize the uninstall. Enter your computer password and click OK. Select the “Uninstall” button from the bottom right. Select “Open” from the Security prompt, if applicable. Double-click on the “Uninstall Kaspersky Endpoint Security” option. Go to your downloads folder by opening Finder and clicking Downloads. Select “Download anyway” when prompted that Google cannot scan for virus’s. Download the Bitdefender installer here. Download the Kaspersky package which contains the uninstaller here. If you do NOT have Kaspersky installed please skip down to the second section labeled Bitdefender Clean installation. If you do, please follow the instructions below. If you currently have Kaspersky Antivirus installed you will see a “K” icon like the one shown below on your task bar. If Bitdefender did not restart your computer during the installation, restart your machine one last time to finalize installation. When the installation is complete, click Finish. Once your computer restarts, Bitdefender will continue installing on its own. During the installation, Bitdefender may need to restart your computer. It should then begin the new installation itself. When the installer opens click Continue and wait a few minutes for Bitdefender to remove your current antivirus software.
